The strongest of the cuss words are ‘(h)ostie’, ‘sacrament”, câlice’, ‘tabarnacle’, One way people swear when they are very upset is by simply stringing all of these strong words together, in any order. For rhythm, they might add a few ‘de’s to tie things together. These phrases have no meeting except to show that the person is very upset. These phrases can hurt the ears of other Quebeckers just like the F... word can hurt the ears of anglophones. An example of such a combination would be: |
